Purposes for processing personal data

Lehmann & Troost processes personal data for the following purposes:

• being able to provide a quotation;
• being able to evaluate a quotation;
• to be able to place an order;
• being able to determine what specifications or wishes a particular item or service should meet;
• delivering goods or performing work for you;
• to be able to invoice customers and satisfy supplier invoices;
• being able to communicate the performance aspects of the agreement;
• ensuring and improving our quality and service;
• to perform acquisition and marketing activities;
• being able to comply with legal obligations and other obligations towards third parties.

Justification for processing personal data

• Consent

Lehmann & Troost may ask for your written consent to the processing of your personal data. You may refuse and/or withdraw this consent at any time after it has been issued. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the prior processing. Refusing consent may result in our inability to execute the agreement with you or your company.

• Necessary for the performance of the agreement.

Lehmann & Troost processes most personal data because it is necessary for the performance of the agreement with suppliers and/or customers. Without the provision of certain personal data necessary for the performance of the agreement, Lehmann & Troost cannot perform it or perform it properly. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. But if you do not provide us with personal data or do not provide us with sufficient personal data, we may be unable to perform work for you.

Retention periods of your personal data Lehmann & Troost retains your data in the case of an agreement with you in principle for 7 years. This period is the statutory retention period based on tax law. Personal data to which no legal retention period applies are kept for a maximum of 2 years. After the expiration of the retention period, your data will be deleted unless Lehmann & Troost has a legitimate interest in retaining it.
